Night One - Kangaroo Island

 

Your accommodation is a beautifully appointed beach home located on Kangaroo Island - one of earth's last unspoilt refuges. This house has 4 Queen bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities located within two identical wings which are connected by a reception style entrance. Wide verandahs overlook the pristine coastline, and inside each wing provides a spacious and fully appointed open plan living area superbly finished with natural timber flooring.

 

When group sizes are larger (maximum of ten), additional accommodation is provided which is located within a 200m walk from the larger house. Each property has sensational views which can be seen from your bed! Both accommodation options overlook once of Australia's most idyllic beaches. Resident wallabies inhabit the stands of sugar gums on these properties which are bigger than 35 acres - all yours for the night!

 

Nights Two and Three - Kangaluna Bush Camp

 

The camp has a central dining room which is mostly open sided but is closed when the weather is not so perfect. The Kangaluna camp is a wonderful place to relax, walk and observe the nature which lives in harmony with our presence.

 

The open mallee woodland environment is home to many animals which still have their original tracks through the camp, and over a hundred species of birds frequent the area. Recycled materials were used in its construction and furnishing, giving it a tastefully rustic look.

 

Kangaluna Camp has been developed by its owners from a life time of experience on how to best live in this environment and dry climate. Water is collected from the roofs and is the only water source. Techniques are used for its preservation but you still have private showers and flushing toilets.

 

The luxury safari tents are set in the stunning mallee wilderness region of the Gawler Ranges in South Australia.

 

This is perfect for the nature lover who really wants to be away from touristic areas and experience some of South Australia’s finest scenery and wildlife.

 

The curved roofs also help to cool the tents as they always keep the air flowing. No vegetation has been removed from the site but the camp was designed and built using the natural fire breaks that the trees in this place create for their own protection.

 

One lucky couple will experience the Swagon, a renovated covered wagon with a Swag bed where you can gaze at the stars all night long! ” The Galaxy Suite”

 

Night Four - Flinders Ranges

 

Your outback night is spent at Ranwsley Park Station in a luxury Eco Villa. The villas feature many sustainable design features such as rendered straw-bale walls, polished timber floors over suspended concrete slabs, raked ceilings with natural exhaust venting at the apex, and overhanging eaves to shade walls.

 

The best part … a retractable ceiling offering night-sky viewing from the comfort of your bed!
