Explore the wonders of Kangaroo Island by joining us on this beautifully thought out, hand crafted tour. Airtours specialises in bringing the extraordinary world of the Australian landscape right to your fingertips for you to enjoy as part of our small group, luxury touring options.
Kangaroo Island has a large variety of wildlife which you will be lucky enough to see multiple times throughout your time on the island, as it is affectionately known by locals.

This tour begins with an introduction to your pilot who is also your host and extension of our family who will be looking after your every need whilst you are enjoying our experiences. Boarding our beautifully presented, luxury turboprop aircraft is next on the agenda before a short but pleasant flight across the gulf to Kangaroo Islands largest airport, Kingscote. On arrival, we meet our private tour guides who are yours for the next two days!

Tours are tailor made to each individual group, however, you will experience an action packed day with the Southern Ocean, KI wildlife and local history featuring heavily on the itinerary. You will be blown away (sometimes quite literally!) whilst admiring the power of the ocean, intrigued by the seals and their pups and in awe of the natural beauty that lies within our stunning island.
After your touring concludes for the day, you will be delivered to the front door of your hand selected accommodation. We choose our accommodation to ensure the best experience possible; breathtaking views mixed with stylish luxury awaits your individual room with ensuite in a beautiful private residence you are lucky enough to take ownership of for the night alongside your fellow travellers.
Once settled, you will enjoy sunset drinks and a private dining experience with a chef catered meal consisting of the finest Kangaroo Island produce.
The morning brings a delightful cooked breakfast eaten whilst watching the local wallabies stretching in the morning sun. Soon after, you are whisked away by your private guide for another full day of exploring the sensational offerings of Kangaroo Island.
In what seems like the blink of a eye you return to your private aircraft for your flight back to Adelaide Airport.

Board your aircraft at 0800 to begin your journey of discovering the Flinders Ranges over the next two days. On board your turboprop aircraft, a 60 minute flight takes you to the heart of the Flinders Ranges where you land at Rawnsley Park Station. There is a short transfer to your accommodation where your luxury Eco Villa is tucked away in a secluded spot with breathtaking views. The villas feature many sustainable design features such as rendered straw-bale walls, polished timber floors over suspended concrete slabs, raked ceilings with natural exhaust venting at the apex, and overhanging eaves to shade walls. The best part … a retractable ceiling offering night-sky viewing from the comfort of your bed!
Shortly after arriving you will be whisked away for a station tour of this working sheep station. Learn about theday to day life of Rawnsley Park which still runs approximately 2,000 Dohne sheep. Visit the shearing shed to see how the wool is sorted and baled, before visiting the water points. Lunch will be prepared by the Woolshed restaurant and will be eaten in a secluded location with magnificent views!
After a leisurely lunch, make your way back to the Station for an afternoon of sightseeing. If you have chosen an additional helicopter scenic flight there is time this afternoon to view this magnificent landscape from the air (aditional costs apply), there really is nothing quite like it. Soak up the local area with time to wander around the walking trails and discover the essence of the outback.
Your first day concludes with a stunning Flinders Ranges sunset overlooking the Chace Range with champagne and canapés before a beautiful evening meal in the Woolshed at Rawnsley Park. Retire to your villa and fall asleep under the outback sky …
Awake to the sound of nature and enjoy breakfast in the Woolshed. Shortly after, you will be whisked away for a full day tour taking in Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges including stopping for lunch at the famous Prairie Hotel at Parachilna where you will have the
opportunity to enjoy a Feral Mixed Grill and a Fargher Lager!
Transfer to your private aircraft for a 60 minute flight back to Adelaide, arriving by 6pm.

Extreme luxury ...... arriving and departing Kangaroo Island on board your sensational turboprop aircraft! Our aircraft are maintained to exceptionally high standards and we believe, are the best fleet of turboprop aircraft in Australia. Only yourself and your fellow travellers will be on board these high performance aircraft where every passenger has their own window seat.
Aircraft types will either be a Pilatus PC12 (same aircraft as the Royal Flying Doctor Service) or a Beechcraft B200 Super King Air, arguable the most successful twin turboprop ever made.
Baggage is limited to a maximum of 12kg per passenger, preferably packed in soft sided bags. However, should the tour not be fully booked additional baggage may be available and will be advised prior to departure.
