After breakfast on Kangaroo Island, Day three will see you departing for a flight over Port Lincoln and landing in Streaky Bay, on the West coast of South Australia. You will be met from the aircraft and transferred to your Sea Lion swim. These creatures are so playful they will have you smiling for days! It is highly recommended to take the opportunity to swim with the beautiful animals although if this doesn't tickle your fancy then there is plenty of fun to be had watching on from above and time to enjoy the fresh sea air.
A road transfer to Kangaluna Safari Camp allows enough time to settle in and be ready for a hearty dinner. This camp is luxury in the outback and with owners Geoff and Rene you will be in excellent hands with their team of passionate staff.
Day four is a discovery of the Gawler Ranges National Park venturing to the massive and usually dry salt lake of Lake Gairdner where you will be able to walk onto the salt crust. Overnight in your luxury accommodation in the Gawler Ranges on nights three and four.
Gawler Ranges Wilderness Safaris
A small family business operated by owners Geoff and Rene along with their dedicated staff. We began operating nature based tours in 1988, specialising in the wildlife and nature our land has to offer. Our guides provide experiences in the Outback and West Coast of Eyre Peninsula and its amazing wild beauty and contrasting landscapes rich with native fauna.
Our love is to send you home with the most memorable choice of holiday you made in Australia.
To date, we've trekked all through the South Australian outback, to the ocean and beyond ... with guests from all over the globe returning home with new tales to tell and memories of a land with wildlife and scenery that is spectacular and unique.

In true Wild Bush Luxury style, the Arkaba Homestead pays homage to its rich pastoral and exploration heritage in a manner that is both rustically chic and utterly exclusive.
Your hosts ensure a friendly and personal level of service that is typically ‘down to earth’ but does not lose sight of the attention to the small details that are so important in delivering an outstanding outback experience.
