ITINERARY
Departing Adelaide Airport, transfer by road to the beautiful Adelaide Hills where you will begin a cheese making masterclass at The Lane Vineyard.
Your taste buds will be challenged with different styles of cheese while learning about the basic rules of sensory analysis, leaving
you with the knowledge required to understand and really appreciate fine cheese. Indulge in a 2 course lunch overlooking the vines in The Lane Vineyard Dining Room.
Transfer to McLaren Vale for your vintage and classic experience of flying over the beautiful Fleurieu coastline in a magnificent open cockpit biplane. Real coffee and homemade cake is served in the flight office whilst you soak up the atmosphere of yesteryear. Depart for your city accommodation via private vehicle transfer. Helicopter transfer is an option for this tour, departing and arriving from Adelaide Airport (POA).
THE LANE VINEYARD
The Lane Vineyard, near Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills, is 400 metres above sea level. Shaped by this altitude and southerly latitudes the cooler climate is ideal for growing grapes destined to become wines of distinction, wines with impressive structure, minerality and natural acidity. North facing single vineyard sites maximize autumn sunlight for
later ripening varietals, South facing sites favor aromatic whites and sparkling wines.
